How does OpenAI plan to be profitable?
- jillesvangurp 4mo agoEconomies of scale, optimization of models, hardware, energy infrastructure, data center construction and operation, etc. Stuff is currently relatively inefficient and there's lots of room for optimization. All the usual stuff.

- ian-clark 4mo agoSurveillance, user data, government contracts, military technology, and ads. I don’t actually know this, just guessing based off other big companies and what they’ve done with the current government.
