Why So Secretive? The Trans-Pacific Partnership as Global Corporate Coup
- tokenizer 14y agoSo what can we do about this?
- tptacek 14y agoYou'd be better off here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Pacific_Strategic_Economic_Partnership#Controversy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Pacific_Strategic_Economi... than this article. Also, it's pure, distilled politics; what would it be doing here on HN? There's a whole Internet full of sites where this stuff is germane. Flagged.
- onetwothreefour 14y agoWhat I'd like to understand is why governments in any country that isn't the US would agree to any of this stuff. I think that's the real question here.
- kkmickos 14y agoMy guess is that he posted it as it may affect the IT-industry and startups therein severely, something HN is covering.
- tptacek 14y agoThat's been said about virtually every political story posted here.
- Cbasedlifeform 14y agoThat is indeed why I posted it as startups (and any other business) will be affected by these changes. It's sometimes useful to have a macro view of the world.
