Why are you using ffmpeg under wsl?

  What's the point of this question? It doesn't matter. The entire point of wsl is to be able to run code compiled for Linux on Windows. ffmpeg underpins so many things these days. It could be used to extract frames in a PHP based website, convert something to a gif, or a demux an mkv. You may as well be asking me why I'm using a computer.
