I wish there was more detail on this. I often wonder how someone is able to get themselves to a hospital, but when faced with death, is unable to get themselves to another state. Not any family member with a car? Not a neighbor? Friend? Not even a bus ticket?

- watwut 5mo agoPresumably, they are not right at the border and multiple hours of driving can turn out to be too much.
- panda888888 5mo agoIf you read the article, it said it was a 4 hour drive in a rural area. Too much risk of bleeding out, even if you're in an ambulance.
