Wing IDE is great

  "Me too". I've tried many Python IDEs, settled down with Wing IDE. The one feature I truly love in that IDE is "debug probe". Once you breakpoint (or hit an unhandled exception), you can walk up and down the call stack and evaluate arbitrary expressions in any frame. SO handy.
