Got a salesman trying to pitch me an automated application service, that charges $50 per application and something like 10 weeks salary on placement Told the guy to pound sand Another company that does this is ladders. You'll see a posting, use it to apply, and then they'll black hole responses to your application unless you pay up. They'll also spam the ever loving shit out of your inbox
