Cooking recipes tend to be badly specified ones in natural language, but algorithms just the same. See, I’m absolutely incapable of “following recipes”, especially cooking ones. I can much more easily learn the principles behind sour dough making and then apply them. I think that requires intelligence, much more than following the algorithm.
