Show HN: 1B rows (14B cells) in the browser with DuckDB and Glide Data Grid
- engraver 4mo agoWe ahve been working hard on a batteries included full reporting data analytics gird and want to get some community feedback, it has a swappable engine (demo using duckDB ) with rendering built on forked version of a lesser-known library Glide Data Grid. Happy to answer any questions and if enough interest a blog on how we built it. really excited to share the project and hear your thoughts!!
- codingdave 4mo agoNo thanks. I gave up as soon as I saw it was going to spend a long time just generating rows before even trying to show anything. Pagination is a thing, for a reason. What problem is solved by loading everything into the browser at once?
