Why should secrets be built in? What's the issue with tool use and something like 1password's or Vault's CLI?

    There are free alternatives: https://openbao.org/ https://openbao.org/ Personally, I am happy paying 1password for my personal secret management. Their security credibility and bona fides are well-established. I'd strongly consider them for a business contract too.
