Woman without right hand charged for holding phone in right hand while driving
- hn_acker 5mo agoThe original title is: > Charges dismissed for woman without right hand cited for holding phone while driving Although the traffic citation was dismissed, the remarkable event was the fact that the police issued the driver such a citation in the first place.
- JoeBOFH 5mo agoHe triple downed on it as well.
- xvxvx 5mo agoYeah, I want to see that bodycam footage too. ‘I’m writing you a ticket for holding a phone in your right hand while driving.’ ‘I don’t have a right hand.’ Proceeds to show cop the lack of a right hand. Gets a ticket anyway.

- sigmar 5mo agoThat video is insane. Is the guy so arrogant that he couldn't conceive of being wrong? How could he possibly continue to write a ticket after this interaction?
- quantified 5mo agoRemember the cop who shot, in the leg, a person who was just lying in a crosswalk: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Charles_Kinsey https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Charles_Kinsey]. Why? "¯\_(ツ)_/¯". Cop was convicted of essentially dipshttery but had that overturned.
