Maybe the problem is that the people who report to the C-level have a huge incentive to use AI because it is so good at creating corporate BS. Also AI is tuned to sycophantic behavior which perfectly matches the middle/upper management culture of selective ass kissing. As a result the quality of input for C-level has gotten worse without the C-level being able to notice it, because the sugarcoating has increased tenfold.
