I'm so happy for my friends that got green cards before this insanity.
- kibwen 5mo agoThe government has completely abandoned any pretense of following the rule of law. Don't be shocked when they start revoking green cards. Don't be shocked when they start revoking natural citizenship. "But they can't do that!", you say. But who's going to stop them?
- OutOfHere 5mo agoFor those who're in the US, the courts can stop the government. The ones more at risk are non-citizens who are abroad.
- phs318u 5mo agoCan they though? Hasn’t the government already ignored plenty of injunctions against them?
- jfengel 5mo agoAnd will they? This administration has appointed a significant fraction of judges.
- ethbr1 5mo agoDo you have some examples?

- redserk 5mo agoIf you have enough money to hire lawyers or can figure out how to get in contact with a law firm willing to work with you for the exposure, sure. If you aren’t lucky enough, you’re just screwed.
- OutOfHere 5mo agoIt's not that bad because once the court ultimately makes a general ruling, not merely in favor of an individual, but against a federal policy, the ruling can apply to everyone, not just to that one individual. Granted, the government could still ignore the court's order.
- adgjlsfhk1 5mo agono. the supreme Court got rid of that last year
- thisisit 5mo agoThis government and its supporters would say - Due process isn't applicable to everyone in the US especially who they perceive as being "illegal immigrant".
