- jeffbee 5mo agoRecent history is full of examples of trains that killed air routes. Trains took 80% market share from Paris to Lyon and 100% to Brussels. Similar in Spain and Japan.

- jeffbee 5mo agoThis mostly codified established reality. TGV had overwhelming Paris-Lyon market share by 1981 and Paris-Bordeaux by 2018, years before the ban.
