I've mostly avoided the frustration of dealing with google's product rug pulls over the years by never getting hooked on a non-gmail product.
Alas, I now feel the sting of disappointment.
- wffurr 5mo agoIn this case it's the usual Google product rug-pull plus the insane rate of AI tool churn.

- christoff12 5mo agoBelated follow up: I was able to install the agy cli directly without the IDE (perhaps this was a change made in the interim). I ran it last night and it was just fine as a drop-in replacement for my usage. Disappointment averted with minimal effort on my part (it helps that my typical workflow is pretty mundane/close to the defaults).
