UK needs urgent changes to survive global heating
- spacedcowboy 6mo agoIf the UK is so drastically affected, how are others going to manage ? The UK is generally pretty far North compared to most of Europe and all of the UK is north of anywhere in the USA apart from the cheat-code which is Alaska.
- happymellon 6mo agoGood question. This is a UK newspaper reporting on a UK focussed report, so the scope of the article is limited. The issue we have (that may be applicable to other countries) is that a lot of government policies here push towards home heating and heat retention. We need to stop punishing people from having dual heating and cooling systems. > About nine in 10 UK homes are likely to overheat. The article linked inside this article is informative in this area.
