I thought "If you're not paying for the product, you are the product" is the most accepted wisdom on HN? At least when it comes to services from FB or Google. But if that comes from China they are the "good guys"?
- CamperBob2 5mo agoGood luck "productizing" a model running on the GPU in my basement with no Internet access. I wouldn't use them via a cloud provider, though.

- CamperBob2 5mo agoNot from an open-weight LLM, I haven't. In fact, even the paid models are product-agnostic to a fault when I'm looking for something specific.
