There's nothing to appeal. Statute of limitations is... just that.
- paulpauper 5mo agoFor criminal cases at least, the statue of limitations is not set in stone. But probably for civil, its much more cut and dry.
- mrhottakes 5mo agoCriminal law actually has very specific statutes of limitation as well, depending on the crime.
- lowkey_ 5mo agoIANAL but civil statute of limitations is based on when the prosecuting party reasonably discovered they were wronged and had legal recourse, not when the event happened. It is entirely possible to debate when that was in this case.
