- pjc50 5mo agoThe EU does have air defences and QRA. Eastern Europe is more at risk from this. And then the question people keep failing to ask: "now what"? Russia is then fully at war with Europe and an open field for air strikes.
- SanjayMehta 5mo agoWhat AD? Patriot has shown itself to be incapable of defending itself, leave alone a capital city.
- pjc50 5mo agoUK deploys Star Streak for protecting critical locations. There was some mild controversy over this being deployed for the Olympics.
- egorfine 5mo agoPlease google what is Oreshnik and what this weapon is capable of. Spoiler: it's absolutely useless. Russia does have great weapons that CAN hurt a lot, but Oreshnik is not one of them.

- general1465 5mo agoIt is a ballistic missile which has precision to barely hit a city. Which is fine if you will put 1MT nuke on top of it. However there are no conventional warheads for that missile, so it can't even do any damage and thus it is completely useless.

- jemmyw 5mo agoIf this were true then Russia would have won the war in Ukraine already.
- SanjayMehta 5mo agoDefine "won the war" Russia's definition or the western concept of land grab. Putin laid it out very clearly in his speeches. They are not interested in a land grab, they want to denazify The Ukraine and liberate the Russian speaking regions. Denazification means more banderaites and by extension no more NATO.

He tried to, as we have seen first 3 months, but spectacularly failed. Everything after first 3 months is grinding war to save face without a clearly defined target.
- SanjayMehta 5mo agoSorry, wrong. The first target was to get back control of the Russian speaking regions, which is ongoing. What you're saying is what Western media has made up since day one. Per usual. The second target is denazification. Which means getting rid of the Nuland installed regime.
- general1465 5mo agoSo why there has been a push to Kyiv at the beginning instead of push for conquering rest of the Donbas? Western media probably made that one too?
