- bawolff 5mo agoPresumably by explaining what lead to said belief. I wouldnt of used the citation needed here meme personally, but i think its clear the poster is just asking why it should not be trusted.
- Hypomixolydian 5mo agoFor example pointing to the research confirming that Veracrypt is not secure somehow (if such belief has any justification in facts).
- PyWoody 5mo agoThen say that. Sorry, I just hate how overused that meme is as it's rarely helpful and doesn't add to the conversation.
- ranger_danger 5mo agoI would say being skeptical and calling out FUD is more helpful than being silent and letting people believe them.
