QLC already beats out HDD in power constrained hyperscalar environments. Capex is not the only factor.
- ksec 5mo agoYes but Only when power is a factor. Nearline Cold Storage is not the case here. And after nearly 6 years we still haven't have a solid contender to drive NAND BOM further down. So the news of competing with Nearline is certainly exciting.
