- Eaglo 5mo agoI'm currently at work at the Long Island Railroad. If the Company and unions don't come back to the negotiation we're all walking off the job at 12:01 am. The energy here is palpable... it's going to get very messy if we strike. DO NOT CROSS A PICKET LINE.

- Eaglo 5mo agoYes, like every political body, unions have a fair share of scandal. With unions it tends to be a bit less sophisticated.
- SilverElfin 5mo agoThis is just extortion. There shouldn’t be unions in the public sector or private sector when it’s mostly funded by public funds and there’s no competition possible.
- Eaglo 5mo agoIf you joined one you wouldn't feel that way. Don't hate them because the have a good job with security you wish you had. There's no other mechanism for labor to protect itself from large corporation.
