Tech layoffs have been brutal this year, and are likely to get worse
- aralsamuel 5mo agoSitting at the crossroads of tech and compliance, for years I felt I had ultimate job security. My role was just too critical for the company to play with, until this year. It turns out the market is punishing worse than the regulators do.
- jauntywundrkind 5mo agoNot just ai capex, but just regular capex is going to be through the roof absurd. The chip crisis is going to cause bedlam. I really hope we see some companies bucking the trend & trying to look like good places to work, where people are well treated & where work tries to be a nice place.
