Guy Attaches Helium Balloons to House, Soars Into Sky Like Up Character
- StavrosK 14y agoI call fake, based on two pieces of evidence: 1. It's the Daily Mail. 2. You need way more balloons than that to lift a house. The house in the photo is probably the size of a crate.
- ohwp 14y agoNational Geographic already did it with a full scale house. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV6rNqin4P8&t=115 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV6rNqin4P8&t=115
- StavrosK 14y agoHuh, interesting.
- nodata 14y agoPlus the house isn't designed to be lifted from the top. It would collapse.
- yeahsure 14y agoThat "house" is probably just a shell resembling a house. Also, those are really big weather balloons, not those found at a party.
- icebraining 14y agoHere's the Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/howaboutthat/9687977/Jonathan-Trappe-flies-a-house-on-helium-balloons-like-the-PixarDisney-film-Up.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/howabouttha... - Void_ 14y ago> We’ll give you a moment now to come to terms with the fact that nothing you do will ever compare to the majesty of Mr. Trappe’s adventures. That's Reddit-low.
- radarsat1 14y agoFun, but also kind of a waste of precious helium.

- terhechte 14y agoIsn't helium rather scarce, wouldn't there be much better uses for it than this?
