- nazgulnarsil 18y agoWho wants to start a business? A legal "high" for $25. I know I would pay $25 to try this thing out and I bet hundreds of people in any given town would too. Only takes 40 people to recoup the cost of the machine.
- ryanwaggoner 18y agoHire a damn good attorney.

- electromagnetic 18y agoAgreed, it suppresses electrical activity in the brain, a sufficiently powerful pulse from a device like this can potentially stop all electrical activity in the brain, including the areas that control the lungs and heart. In theory any sufficiently powerful EM field could kill a person. However it's fortunate that magnetic fields diminish significantly with distance, so the primitive parts of our brain that control bodily functions are relatively protected so I wouldn't be surprised if they start researching ways to use this as a stun weapon.
- katz 18y agoOr just take an ordinary attorney and TMS him...
- eru 18y agoBut you'll have to do that recursively..
- abstractbill 18y agoIf you do, please let us know what it's like.
- pivo 18y agoMy wife works for Medtronic, I'll see if she can bring one home for the weekend :)
- pygy 18y agoI wouldn't try that if I were you. These beasts can produce fields up to two tesla BTW Handled unproperly they can trigger epileptic seizure. Furthermore, the effect depends on the brain area you target and the frequency of the stimulus. If you can't aim precisely, you won't get the expected results. For precise aiming, you need to coregister your stimulator with an MRI of your brain.
- noonespecial 18y agoMost MRI's are 3 teslas. Some are up to 7. The chance of seizure or permanent brain damage from this little machine is greatest from nearby paper clips.
- Daniel_Newby 18y agoThe main magnet in MRI scanners produces a steady field. TMS machines use a rapidly changing magnetic field that induces significant electric currents in the brain, so they can potentially cause problems.
