This comment is a good example of dehumanization.
To argue a group is unworthy of life or dignity is dehumanization.
It paves the path for policy that targets certain groups, to formalize violence against the groups as legal.
- newsclues 5mo agoReading is hard, but I didn’t argue anyone is unworthy of life. I was saying it sucks for the people who are winning from their hard work, see others who didn’t win get the rewards. But if you are one of the losers who got a participation trophy I understand why you resent this idea.
- shermantanktop 5mo agoGuarantee there’s a pile of people who disagree with you and make far more than you, and a bunch who agree but make far less (presumably “losers”). One’s paycheck or bank account might suggest a viewpoint but there are lots of exceptions.
