Tellie: A Teleprompter that listens. Vibe coded it while my granddaughter slept
- SteveChazin 6mo agoI'm a 30-year tech veteran (Apple, Cisco, Salesforce) but I've never written production code. I built Tellie in 3 days during a visit to my granddaughter in Vermont, entirely by talking to Claude. The app uses on-device speech recognition to scroll the script as you talk. It's invisible to Zoom and screen recorders, which means scripts never leak into your recordings. Free, ~2MB DMG, no telemetry, no account. The bigger thing this proves: software is no longer gated by technical skill. It's gated by imagination. I write about this every Thursday in AI for the Rest of Us. Would love feedback.
