- throw1234567891 6mo agoDoes it imply that half of the administration of the US should be imprisoned for insider trading and starting a war for personal financial interests? Well, colour me surprised.
- fakedang 6mo agoI mean, that 7 billion USD amount also includes some of us on the other side of the pond placing bets based on the very obvious shitpost patterns of your highly stable president.
- throw1234567891 5mo agoI like how you make an assumption about “my president”.
- jfengel 5mo agoThe "highly stable" part should make it clear that it's intended sarcastically.
- estearum 6mo agoNo it doesn't. These are outlier trades by size alone placed minutes before news broke. This isn't just people betting on TACO or NACHO or pathological lying and whatnot. These are ultra, ultra high-conviction bets literally large enough to move commodities markets placed minutes before news that, astoundingly, moved the market in exactly the right direction!

- onlypassingthru 6mo agoWhat is the challenge in identifying the trader(s) here? Isn't this a simple SQL query? How many personal accounts could there possibly be making $1B bets within those 10-15 minute windows?
- conception 6mo agoI mean… who know who they are. But not enough folks care.
