Hedystia is an end-to-end type-safe backend framework for TypeScript. Schemas drive both runtime validation and TypeScript inference.
2.3 highlights:
- Native Node.js — `listen(port)` works on Bun and Node without any adapter. Subscriptions, WebSockets, heartbeats all work natively. - @hedystia/ws — Universal WebSocket package (Bun, Node, Deno). Same API everywhere. No HTTP server included — just portable upgrade handling and pub/sub. - PostgreSQL — New @hedystia/db driver via `pg`. Full CRUD, transactions, caching, migrations. - Validations — 20+ new `h.` factories: bigint, tuple, record, map, set, intersection, discriminated unions, lazy schemas, transform/refine/pipe. - Astro integration — Use @hedystia/view components inside Astro pages. View is a reactive UI engine with no virtual DOM — signals, memos, effects, JSX. - Better Auth adapter — @hedystia/db as a database adapter for Better Auth. @hedystia/db is a type-safe ORM for SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, File, and S3.
The framework is MIT, built with Bun, and the entire monorepo is TypeScript.
