It's easy to go buy a domain and hosting on GoDaddy. Running at EC2 scale, managing your own nameservers, etc is hard. I still don't see the difference. People think that since they can do the first, the latter should be automatically easy, or they're entitled to it because the ramp up was easy. Pretty much how the Git conversation plays out.
