    "Maybe I could see using something like that" is equivalent to "no, I won't use that." If they were a "yes", they would take out their wallet and offer you money. "Something like that" means "not what you are offering". "Maybe I could see using something like that" is what people say when they want to be nice to you. Even "I would use that" is basically a "no".
