I have a lot of trouble understanding what the gameplay is like.

  Yes, that's a big trouble for us and a huge retention challenge. We are wrapping our head around making us more understandable. Super shortly: you build stuff on the real map, this stuff gives you money, you collect it and upgrade yourself. Also, you can destroy stuff of others, steal from them, kill some bots and so on.
