Seeing Birdsong
- electroglyph 5mo agosite has so little information there doesn't seem to be much to discuss
- hapofuino 5mo agoThere seems to be some additional information in a video on the creator's YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPFmcVtGnh0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPFmcVtGnh0 edit: There appears to be more information in a variety of the creator's videos, but it looks like the projection from birdsong-to-3D is (probably simplified) taking the Mel spectrogram (40 features from this, unclear as to what they are) and passing it to PCA to get 3D vectors. The creator discusses a real-time version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prhQqpAxrm8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prhQqpAxrm8

- jcims 5mo agoI can’t say for certain but I’m nearly positive I’ve seen ads for this on Facebook or Insta or something like that.
- darkstarsys 5mo agoAbsolutely gorgeous as an art piece.
- mungoman2 5mo agoThis looks very cool, but it's not clear what it means. I wonder if it is captivating simply because it syncs cool graphics to audio, like those Winamp visualization filters in the old days.
- aanet 5mo agoLooking lovely. This looks like converting mel spectrograms to 3D
