- ki4jgt 5mo agoYou should be. Evolution requires variation for any species to continue. Even diseases like diabetes, dementia, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis have evolutionary advantages which have helped our species survive in the past. These aren't defects. They're solutions evolution has baked into our genes to overcome selective pressures. There's no telling what will happen when we demand that those advantages be removed.
