- everyone 6mo agoEhhh, afaik thats not the case in the community. These hypervisor bypasses are considered a different category. Like look at any scene page, they will 100% say Hypervisor or HV for these.
- Jtarii 6mo agoThey are referred to as Hypervisor cracks.
- TiredOfLife 6mo agoLast scene release with Denuvo crack was like 6 years ago.
- akimbostrawman 6mo agoNot true, in this year alone there have already been around 10 denuvo cracks (not hypervisor bypasses) and more will come.
- TiredOfLife 6mo agoNone were from scene
- akimbostrawman 6mo agoThat doesn't exclude them from being cracks. They still follow scene rules.
- branon 6mo agoUntrue, cracking software necessitates _removing_ the protection from the executable completely. Whereas with a bypass, Denuvo is still running on your computer, albeit ineffectually. This has implications - the bypasses cannot run on Linux for example where a cracked executable could. They are not the same thing.
