- derektank 5mo agoThe world’s dependence on China for solar panel manufacturing is troubling, but unlike oil, once the generating facility is installed you’re no longer dependent on your supplier (at least for a decade or two). I would be more concerned about batteries if I was in government
- intrasight 5mo agoOur dependence on China for cars is even scarier.
- throw3433 5mo agoIndia has huge surplus capcity of solar panels. Sadly Trump put 100-200% tariffs on Indian solar panels. Its very easy and cheap to produce these outside China.
