- db48x 5mo agoYou may recall the incident a few years back when the regulators, whose job is to protect the coastline, denied SpaceX a permit to launch more times per year based on his political statements, weaponizing their government power against someone with a minority political opinion.

- ungreased0675 5mo agoCalifornia seems to be infested with bureaucrats, advisory boards, committees and commissions who have the goal of preventing human civilization.

- dlcarrier 5mo agoFor once, the coastal commission isn't above the law. I doubt this will humble them, but at least it means if you have a few billion dollars, you might be able to get something through, in their jurisdiction.
