I like that twitter forces you to be concise.
- marshray 14y agoI have a theory that it was Twitter forcing people to be consise that was one of the major factors of the Arab Spring revolutions. Think about it: Politicians who have been trained in the art of speaking in soundbites have been ruling much of the world since the advent of electronic media. Those who can't phrase their arguments in bite-sized pieces for busy people to digest come across as being ineffective intellectuals. Titter gives ordinary people the ability to communicate in soundbites. Sometimes less is more. This is society-changing powerful stuff.
