Why do you want random recruiters as connections? This not sarcastic; it's a sincere question.
- graeme 14y agoI'm not a master networker, but I don't think you get to be one by asking why you would want a certain connection. You never know what the future holds.
- rdl 14y agoGenuinely random recruiters, no, but if you might be hiring for something outside of your personal skill set, it's worth having connections with recruiters in those fields, if you may do a startup in the future. I'd have a hard time hiring great enterprise sales people on my own; it's worth it for me to talk to enterprise sales recruiters infrequently and to seek out great enterprise sales managers as contacts. Same for finance people, etc.
