Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
There's also nothing stopping us from stigmatizing the use of smartphones in public. Even a slight discouragement of it would be progress. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.
- SoftTalker 5mo agoI think smartphones are a lost cause. Even at the gym, there are guys in the locker room taking pics of themselves in the mirror. Meanwhile I'm walking ass-naked out of the shower. There is just no sensitivity to appropriate time and place anymore.
- expedition32 5mo agoMan I don't even want to know how many photos I'm in. And the people who act annoyed because you are disturbing their film set as if they are James Cameron are the funniest.
- partyficial 5mo ago> Meanwhile I'm walking ass-naked out of the shower is this a Western/American thing about no shame regarding one's body in public places in the presence of other people, be it male or female? I can never imagine this happening in my country.
- SoftTalker 5mo agoWhich part? The shirtless posing for the camera in the locker room mirror, or the stepping out of the shower naked? I mean it's a locker room... it's a space meant for changing clothes and showering.
- partyficial 5mo ago> stepping out of the shower naked? i'd never step out to a place where a stranger could see me, without a towel or wet shorts covering my private bits.
