Glad that Microsoft is getting the message but I doubt that an "effort" to correct the rot from the last 10 years will yield much results. There needs to be a total refocus and probably a substantial rewrite of everything in UX land. Most important is that network calls need to be totally eliminated from anywhere where network connectivity is not central to the application's purpose.
- BizarroLand 5mo agoThey should go the Apple route and rewrite their entire OS from the ground up and relegate all compatibility issues to a Proton-esque interpretation layer. That's what they should do. But they won't, because every decision maker at Microslop incorporated has their head surgically attached to their own colon.
