American intelligence showed Iran was nowhere near building a nuclear weapon.
Frankly, a better question would be to ask why Mango Mussolini tore up the 2016 Iran Nuclear deal (JCPOA).... Hint: It might be something to do with it being made by his predecessor.

- laughing_man 5mo agoYou have no idea whether or not that's true. What they say is crafted for political effect, and we don't know what's in the classified briefing. It's kind of irrelevant, though. If they're enriching uranium, they're trying to build a nuclear weapon whether or not they're close to finishing.
