- michaelhoffman 14y agoBut, unlike XHTML, it is possible to validate an e-mail address with a regular expression (assuming comments have been removed).
- _delirium 14y agoIt's also, unlike XHTML, not particularly easy to do it with a parser: most of the complexity of the regex is due to the litany of edge cases for what constitutes a valid email address, not due to it being a regex.
