This regex tests for RFC 822 compliance, but what if you get a user who has an email address that itself doesn't comply with the RFC?
- ygra 14y agoThen they have a hard time receiving mail from anyone, I guess.
- jacques_chester 14y agoActually, it doesn't. Email addresses can't, strictly speaking, be tested for with regexes. This one "only" tests various nestings to I think about 3 levels deep.
