Courage is not the appropriate word
- 2ndorderthought 5mo agoI think it fits. Look at the anonymous posts in here, the sheer volume of posts saying this person is failing their students, is a relic, a Luddite, etc. He put his name and career on it. That takes courage in my opinion.
- Vaslo 5mo agoThere were never going to be repercussions for this, so not very courageous.
- 2ndorderthought 5mo agoProfessors get fired too, and pressure can come down from chairs to change or be gone. Having been in academia, it can be more cut throat than FAANG
