I like this thought experiment, because it's not actually a dilemma, since the answer is obvious, but it creates the meta-thought-experiment conversation of trying to understand the reasoning of blue-pickers in the comments. Whereas most thought experiments try to balance two things equally, which creates a lot of debate, this one pushes the options as far apart as possible without quite going fully black-and-white (which would sound like, "If you press the red button, you live; if you press the blue button, you die."). This creates less disagreement, but maximizes the size of the disagreement that remains.
