Cybercab Has Started Production
- jqpabc123 6mo agoAutonomous or remotely operated? In the photo released by Tesla in June of their control room consoles with steering wheels are visible in the background. Tesla put out employment ads last year for software developers to build remote driving systems and remote control for Optimus robots which they have disclosed they use--including almost surely a viral incident last week. https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradtempleton/2025/12/15/tesla-deploys-robotaxis-with-nobody-in-them--are-they-unsupervised/ https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradtempleton/2025/12/15/tesla-...
- Zigurd 6mo agoI hope those steering wheels are for software developers, not remote support for cybercab. Actually remotely driving what's supposed to be an autonomous vehicle is dangerous. Waymo support never actually drives a Waymo. They pick from a menu if possible actions, or they leave the vehicle where it is and dispatch on-site help.
