wow, I wanted to have this for a long time. I looked at Crystal, but it never sat right with me. I think some of the limitations can still be implemented (definitely Threads and Mutex), and I'd prefer it to compile to LLVM-IR or something, not C, but overall I think it is great to see Matz playing around with AOT compiling.
