Considering that the answer to the article's question is essentially "no," this is a weak putdown.
- anonymous 14y agoThat's the same answer as "have we always breathed air?" - no. For a long time our ancestor breathed water. Going even further back, we had neither gills nor lungs and didn't breathe at all.
