  > Optional permissions: > Access your data for all websites uhhhhhhh I would recommend everyone read "Temptations of an open-source browser extension developer" [0] before they install random browser add-ons like this 0: https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/discussions/670 https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/discussions/670

It's optional, you need to do something to enable the feature that uses it. I use it for a thing I called Booster which enables this permission so I can add some fixers for some sites like youtube, personal stuff, absolutely not required.

      > so I can add some fixers for some sites like youtube, personal stuff if you want to release a browser extension for widespread consumption, don't bundle "fixers for personal stuff" into the same extension. since I assume you vibe-coded it anyway, just vibe-code two separate extensions.

Not a single line of the 66k lines were vibe coded except some specific focused fixes. And don't tell me what to do nerd.

This is going to be an issue I see. I'm removing the Booster thing so that permission is not required at all now.
