Which has, of course, not stopped that in the slightest. Still, it seems like if there was every any time to push an agenda more strongly, it would be now. I asked my Congressman about it, and his lengthy waffle came down to "We're gonna do health care". Which seems pretty weak, especially since there is zero chance of them getting any legislation past the veto.
